Soft began in Amsterdam in 2004. It comes from the time when I used to stare at the felt decorations that filled the walls of my first grade classroom. The idea started with a blanket and from there came covers, pictures and other concepts which slowly grew into a small collection. Each Soft piece is handmade with wool or wool-blend felt. I initially build my work digitally, then translate it to felt using glue, thread and other materials and techniques.
